Why AlloyAccu for Inconel Sheet?

Unlike standard stainless steel, Inconel sheet metal is “stubborn.” It work-hardens instantly and has significant spring-back during forming.

At AlloyAccu, we combine decades of experience with high-tonnage CNC equipment to master these superalloys. We don’t just “bend” metal; we engineer solutions for exhaust systems, heat shields, and combustion liners that must perform at 2000°F.

FAQ: Inconel Sheet Metal Expertise

Why is Inconel harder to bend than 316 Stainless Steel?

Inconel has a much higher yield strength and work-hardening rate. It requires more force and much larger bend radii to prevent cracking at the bend line.

Do you support low-volume prototypes?

Yes. We use soft-tooling and laser-cutting setups to support R&D and prototype phases before moving to hard-tooling or stamping.

Can you weld Inconel sheet to other materials?

Yes, we can weld Inconel to various stainless steel grades and other nickel alloys, following specific filler metal and thermal control procedures.
